Coimbatore Union :

Coimbatore Dairy has been Established and successfully functioning since 1979. Coimbatore DCMPU has functioned with the Amalgamation of both Coimbatore District and Part of Tiruppur District till 17.12.2018, and after the Creation of Tiruppur DCMPU on 17.12.2018, the Coimbatore DCMPU has been Procuring of Milk from 9736 Milk Producers in 350 Milk Producers Co-operative Societies.

Coimbatore DCMPU having 5 Lakhs Litre Milk Handling Capacity at Main Dairy Campus at Pachapalayam with Three Milk Chilling Centres at Shanmugapuram, Sultanpet and Annur with Capacity of Shanmugampuram - 50000 Ltrs, Sultanpet - 50000 Ltrs and Annur – 20000 Ltrs and Four Bulk Milk Chilling Centers with 5000 Ltrs Capacity and Five Bulk Milk Chilling Centers with 10000 Ltrs Capacity.

Coimbatore DCMPU isProducing the following Milk Products. Ghee, Peeda, Mysorpha, Badam Mix powder, Flavored Milk Bottles, Curd, Butter, Kaju Kattri, Butter Milk and Lassi.,
